The EBL Elefantehuus is a listed building in Liestal, Switzerland. It initially housed two large elephant-like power generators in the early 20th century and is now used as a multifunctional event venue. The building bridges tradition and modernity through its minimalist architecture and the integration of cutting-edge audiovisual technology.
The event hall is the space where the main activities take place. It is a two-story, enclosed room without daylight openings featuring white walls, a dark ceiling, and wooden flooring. The goal of the lighting is to expand the space and create various lighting moods visually.
The general lighting is provided by the CLS Krypton mounted on the ceiling. It features a 3000K white LED in the middle surrounded by RGB LED creating great flexibility in the lighting atmosphere. As the white light component of the Krypton is a pure white light CoB module, there is no risk of so-called colour shifting as is often seen with fixtures that use a mixture of RGBW LED sources to create white light.
