Full fixture diagnostics
Instantly read firmware version, DMX address, driver temperature, and more from the fixture. No power, and no wiring needed to configure. LumiTaG presents all data in a structured overview, saving hours of manual inspection on complex installations.
Configurations
Instantly configure your desired output: DMX address, master control, output patch, soft dim, resolution with 8- or 16-bit, static control, static values DMX response, factory reset, and if applicable current, and power.
Sensor data
Read sensor data to verify installation conditions, among which are temperature, humidity, input and output levels.

Fixture Identity & Asset Tracking
Write a unique asset tag, project name, or location label directly into the fixture's NFC memory. When you scan it later you know immediately which project it belongs to, who installed it, and when.
Pre-Programming on the Workbench
Configure each fixture before it goes up. All parameters set in seconds. No mains connection is required. Fixtures arrive on site ready to be installed the moment they are connected, eliminating individual commissioning at height and saving significant time on large projects.
Flexible exhibition changeovers
Museums and galleries regularly reconfigure their spaces for new exhibitions, requiring lighting to be precisely re-aimed, re-addressed, and re-tuned for each new display. With LumiTaG, technicians can instantly read and update DMX addresses, adjust output parameters, and verify colour temperature settings fixture by fixture, no control panel access needed. This dramatically reduces changeover time between exhibitions, allowing spaces to be ready faster.
Remote technical support
When you encounter an issue you can't resolve, LumiTaG bridges the gap between the site and the CLS technical team. Tap the affected fixture, and the app instantly compiles a complete diagnostic snapshot. This information can be shared with CLS, giving our engineers everything they need to pinpoint the problem.

No. Core functionality, reading diagnostics, configuring DMX addresses, and local audit logging works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for downloading firmware packages and optional cloud log synchronisation.
Hold the back of your smartphone near the NFC tag on the fixture housing. Thin plastic covers and non-metallic glass do not affect performance. Thick metal enclosures may reduce range.
Yes. The app does not collect or share userdata. This also means that no data can be shared with third parties.
LumiTaG is free to download and all core features are included at no cost.
The CLS LDC-41 G4, Topaz & Ruby Series distributed after March 1st 2026 are compatible with NFC. Other series will follow in the coming months.
