Exposition The Dead Sea Scrolls

‘The Dead Sea Scrolls’ is a very successful exhibition at the Drents Museum in Assen (The Netherlands).
This exhibition will be on display until January 5, after which it will be continued in Linz (Austria). The well known Amsterdam based design firm Kossmann.deJong has designed the exhibition, lighting designer Frank Hulsebosch created the light design.

CLS partner Lichtpunt specializes in lighting for museums and exhibitions. They have brought the CLS Focus Spot to the attention of Kossmann.deJong and Frank Hulsebosch already at an early stage. After several tests it was decided that the CLS Focus was the ideal fixture for lighting various objects displayed in showcases.

Lichtpunt lighting consultant Léon van Warmerdam particularly praises the light output, the large adjustment range of the beam (zoom from 15° to 65°), the availability of extendable stems up to 120 cm and the possibility to apply (correction) filters. ‘The CLS Focus Spot offers a combination of features that we have not been able to find at any other manufacturer so far,’ Léon van Warmerdam explains. ‘We are very excited about the CLS Focus and already see many possibilities for future projects.’

At the request of – and in cooperation with – Frank Hulsebosch and Lichtpunt, the CLS Focus product series will soon be extended to a full range of unique high quality showcase lighting products, available to lighting designers worldwide.
